A breathtaking expanse of granite rock formations, created when magma cooled and solidified approximately 120 million years ago, stretches as far as the eye can see. This geological wonder allows visitors to experience the pulse of the Earth and the mysteries of nature.
Facing the open sea, waves crash dramatically against the rugged shoreline, sometimes surging high into the air. On particularly windy days, the spectacle of waves crashing against the rocks creates a powerful, out of this world experience. Some visitors have described it as feeling like they have stepped into another world.
To reach Senjojiki, take the stairs located to the left of the signboard shown in the right photo. The path is steep, so please be careful. Carrying a backpack that keeps both hands free is highly recommended.
