Trail in Nebama to Unosumai area

This tour will explore the Unosumii area and Nebama Beach, which are also included in the Michinoku Coastal Trail course.
Highlights of the tour include a storytelling session at Miraikan, a facility for passing on the lessons of the earthquake, a 14.5-meter-high sluice gate built at the mouth of the Unosumai River, and the Kamaishi Unosumai Reconstruction Stadium, a symbol of reconstruction after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Visitors can learn about the story of Kamaishi's recovery from the disaster while touring Sanriku Geopark geosites such as Nebama Beach and Meoto-rock.
